  • Mr CHENG Alpha

    Alpha is a certified practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and the Chairman of the Parent-Teacher Association for a top-tier kindergarten and bilingual nursery based in Hong Kong. He is particularly interested in researching how an effective three-way communication between parents, children and the school would contribute in the success of early childhood education. Alpha is also a father of two children, aged 3 and 5 years old.

  • Prof CHENG Doris Pui Wah

    Doris is a consultant of early childhood education at PAL Education Research Centre. She is an advocate of play, and her publications focus on early childhood curriculum and pedagogy, including teaching and learning through play, the impact of play on children, and the role and professional development of early childhood teachers. Recently, Doris is appointed as the honorary senior research fellow of the Hong Kong Policy Institute and the honorary research fellow of the Center for Chinese Family Studies in the Asia-Pacific Studies in the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

  • Dr FUJITA Nao

    Nao is a developmental psychologist and British-qualified teacher currently serving as a school counsellor in an international school in Japan. Following Masters studies in Social Anthropology and a PhD in cross-cultural child psychology at the Cambridge University Centre for Family Research, Nao gained a certificate in psychoanalytic observation and continues to work with children, young people and their families. A native Japanese and fluent English speaker, Nao brings a genuinely multicultural, anthropological perspective to child development, grounded in years of practical experience.

  • Dr HO Dora Choi-Wa

    Dora was Associate Professor and Associate Head of the Department of Early Childhood Education at the Education University of Hong Kong in 2013-2020. Her research interests include school leadership and management, teacher professional development, and education policy.

  • Mrs IP Betty

    Mrs Betty IP has worked in the Education Bureau of HKSAR for more than 35 years and retired as a Deputy Secretary of Education. She has participated in the formulation and implementation of various school policies for Primary, Secondary and Special schools and Kindergartens.

  • Dr LEE Amelia N.Y.

    Amelia is Associate Dean (Programme Development) and Head of Early Childhood and Elementary Education of the School of Continuing Education, Hong Kong Baptist University. Her research interests are in the field of early childhood education, parent education and education policy. The Hong Kong SAR Government awarded Dr. Lee the Medal of Honour in 2019 for her outstanding service in promoting quality early childhood education.

  • Prof LEE Kerry

    Kerry joined the Education University of Hong Kong in 2017. He is currently the Head of the Department of Early Childhood Education and Director of the Centre for Educational and Developmental Sciences. Trained as a cognitive developmental psychologist at the University of Sydney and Macquarie University, his work focuses on mathematical achievement, working memory, and the development of executive functioning. He is an associate editor of Learning and Individual Differences and he serves on the editorial or review boards of Child Development, the European Journal of Psychological Assessment, and Frontline Learning Research.
